Behind Stories ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ Adapted to Broadway Stage

American broadway stage was enlivened by Broadway show ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’. Actor Ethan Slater also tells behind the production of animated Nickelodeon that hits.

“Since the first workshop five years ago, nobody knew this was Broadway ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’, I do not know if I auditioned for SpongeBob’s role,” Slate said.

Slater only remembers his former production called ‘The Untitled Tina Landau Project’. Slater with his co-star Lilli Cooper who plays the role of scientist brings life to the stage.

Broadway production is also touted as a big-budget musical. The show has a homemade object and its creation aesthetic is the same as ‘SpongeBob’.

Directed by Landau also find out how to install two-dimensional sponges on stage. The production team also has a different look and plot of animation in the television series.

“If we just repeat something we’ve seen on television or movies, make us we make a theater ?,” he concluded.
